"A Tale of a West Virginia Hot Dog" is a dogumentary based on the Have Fun WV YouTube channel, representing an impressive undertaking that took over two and a half years to complete.

The Journey

Jay Silverman and Joel Bennett started their tour to help struggling mom and pop businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. They traveled all over West Virginia and sampled almost 300 hot dogs, all in search of the best "WV Style Hot Dog" in the state.

Premiere Event

"A Tale of a West Virginia Hot Dog" will premiere at the Alban Arts Center in Saint Albans, West Virginia on Saturday, April 11, 2026 with doors opening at 6:00 PM and showtime at 7:00 PM.
