ICON Cinemas to Transform Pullman Square Into a Premium Entertainment Destination
A major renovation will bring laser projection, duckpin bowling, an arcade, bar and more to downtown Huntington by summer 2027.
A major new investment is coming to the heart of downtown Huntington.
ICON Cinemas will take possession of the cinema space at Pullman Square on October 1, 2026, with plans to completely transform the property into a state-of-the-art entertainment destination unlike anything currently offered in the region.
The extensive renovation will combine a premium moviegoing experience with bowling, gaming, food and beverage offerings and other entertainment under one roof. ICON anticipates reopening the completely remodeled facility in early summer 2027.

A Seamless Transition
The transition will follow the conclusion of Marquee Cinemas' operations at Pullman Square on September 17, 2026. ICON Cinemas will officially take possession of the space on October 1, beginning the process of transforming the facility ahead of its anticipated 2027 opening.
"We are pleased to facilitate a seamless tenant transition at Pullman Square. We extend our sincere gratitude to Marquee Cinemas for their valued partnership and contribution to our vibrant community, and we warmly welcome ICON Cinemas. Introducing a new brand with an expanded use profile allows us to maintain the curated merchant mix our sophisticated patrons expect while reinforcing our property's position as the leading destination in downtown Huntington."

More Than a Movie Theater
The announcement represents more than the arrival of a new tenant. The extensive investment will create a new entertainment anchor designed to draw families, residents and visitors into the heart of the city while complementing Pullman Square's existing restaurants, retailers and surrounding downtown businesses.
From premium movies and immersive sound to bowling, arcade games, food and drinks, the reimagined space will offer multiple reasons to come downtown, stay longer and experience more.
Renovations are expected to begin following ICON's possession of the property, with an anticipated opening in May 2027. Additional details about construction, opening dates and the new ICON Cinemas experience at Pullman Square will be announced as the project progresses.
