A Tale of a West Virginia Hot Dog, a brand-new Dogumentary produced by Two Dawgs Forever Productions, is having its Charleston premiere on Friday, May 8th, 2026 at Park Place Cinemas in Downtown Charleston. And the best part? It's completely FREE to the public.
What Is This?
This isn't your average documentary. Starring Jay Silverman (of Have Fun WV) and Joel Bennett, the film traces the journey of the West Virginia Style Hot Dog Tour — a passion project that kicked off in 2020 during the height of Covid. What started as a way to support local mom-and-pop hot dog shops across the Mountain State grew into a full-blown cultural movement, and now it's getting the big-screen treatment it deserves.
