Moses Auto Group Live on the Levee Returns May 22 for 10 Straight Fridays
Charleston's beloved free summer concert series is back — and bigger than ever
CHARLESTON, WV — One of West Virginia's most beloved summer traditions is back. Moses Auto Group Live on the Levee returns on Friday, May 22, 2026, kicking off 10 straight Fridays of free, live music on the banks of the Kanawha River at Haddad Riverfront Park's iconic Schoenbaum Stage.
A Charleston Summer Staple
Now in its 22nd season, Live on the Levee has grown into one of the most celebrated free concert series in the Mountain State. Each Friday evening, thousands of residents and visitors pack the riverfront for a night of great music, food vendors, and the unmistakable energy that only comes with a warm West Virginia summer evening.
The series is presented by Moses Auto Group, whose title sponsorship has been a cornerstone of keeping the event free and accessible to the entire community. With a stunning backdrop of the Kanawha River, the floating boats, and downtown Charleston's skyline glowing behind the stage, there's simply nothing else like it in the region.
10 Fridays, All Summer Long
This year's series opens May 22nd and runs every Friday through the summer — that's 10 consecutive Fridays of live entertainment on one of the most scenic stages in Appalachia. Past seasons have brought everything from nationally touring acts to beloved regional artists, with something for every musical taste.
All performances are free to the public, making Live on the Levee one of the most family-friendly and community-driven events in Charleston.
